President & Owner

Gwen Collins, the President and Owner of Collins Manufacturing Company, is very involved in the day-to-day operations. Gwen earned an engineering degree from Mercer University, attending at the same time as Larry. Before acquiring the company, Gwen worked as a software engineer at Robins Air Force Base for 13 years. Gwen and her husband, Larry, purchased GMM in 2006 and are doing business as Collins Manufacturing Company. Now, she runs CMC and, in her free time, Gwen enjoys reading and spending time with Larry, their two boys and the rest of the family.
Vice President

Larry Collins is the Vice President of Collins Manufacturing Company with an established history of success in machining and manufacturing. After earning an engineering degree from Mercer University, he immediately began his career as a CNC Programmer/Project Manager and, later, an Engineering Manager for Schwartz Precision Manufacturing. Larry, together with his wife, Gwen, purchased GMM in 2006 and are doing business as Collins Manufacturing Company. Larry can usually be found preparing quotes for customers or developing new clients. When he’s not working, he enjoys staying fit, fishing and spending time with his family.
Project Manager – DLA/Government Sales

Jonathan Jones is a project manager and the point of contact for the DLA (Defense Logistics Agency) at Collins Manufacturing Company, and has been with the company since 2016. Jonathan attended Young Harris College. His background includes outside metal sales for Ryerson, Siskin Steel & Supply Co, and Samuel, Sons & Co. Jonathan coaches for the 4-H S.A.F.E. (Shooting Awareness, Fun and Education) Modified Trap Shotgun Team in Jones County. When he’s not working, Jonathan enjoys travelling with his family, collecting vinyl records, reading, and outdoor activities such as hunting and fly fishing.
Business Development Manager

Miguel Garcia is the Business Development Manager at Collins Manufacturing Company. Miguel attended Mercer University as an Army ROTC scholarship cadet and graduated with a BBA in Economics. After his military service in the 82nd Airborne Division, Miguel returned to Macon and graduated from Mercer’s School of Law. Following more than 20 years in private practice, Miguel joined Collins Manufacturing Company in 2017. Currently, he serves on the Executive Committee of the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce as chair of the Military Affairs Committee. When not “supporting the warfighter” at CMC, Miguel can be found spending time with his family or restoring his grandfather-in-law’s 1968 Ford F-100 pickup.
